Alcoa Custom Extruded Solutions (ACES) is a global business unit, part of Alcoa Inc, operating in Europe and North America. A soft alloy aluminium extrusions manufacturer, ACES is a one stop shop for customers operating in markets such as automotive applications, commercial transportation profiles, building & construction systems, heat sinks for electronic components, micro extrusions, and industrial products.
ACES in Europe operates as one large, integrated aluminium extrusion company with manufacturing capacity in 6 European countries, supported by a professional sales force. ACES deliver standard and customized products.
Alcoa has been in UK since 2000, having acquired the Banbury site from its previous British Aluminium owners. Alcoa Europe’s presence in Europe has grown since the mid 90’s during which a significant period of growth through acquisitions has taken place.
ACES employs over 2,500 across Europe
ACES is supported by a European wide Commercial organisation. Currently this is undergoing significant reshaping to provide an efficient structure supporting growth in profitability through value adding service to customers across Europe and co-operation between manufacturing sites and commercial function.
