About Recovery & Reorganisation
The national Recovery & Reorganisation practice has 43 partners and directors, nearly 300 staff and works out of 16 locations, making us one of the biggest dedicated Recovery teams in the UK.
By far the biggest concentration of Recovery specialists - 179 - are based in one of our two London offices. We are at the hub of Europe's biggest and most important financial centre. Decision-makers at all UK clearing/primary banks, major national and international law firms, investment banks and venture capital houses are, quite literally, on our doorstep. We work with an increasingly diverse group of stakeholders, including lenders, corporates, boards of directors, creditors, public sector bodies and institutional shareholders. The complexion of our work is shifting away from traditional insolvency procedures, which means we are demanding greater creativity and flexibility from our teams. By joining us, you could be working in many newer areas such as operational restructuring, post-deal integration, accelerated M&A, and pension scheme advisory work.
Much of our work derives from the strong focus we have on particular sectors - most notably automotive, leisure, food and agribusiness, printing and healthcare.
The Grant Thornton International network of member firms currently fields 50 accredited Recovery & Reorganisation practices across the globe - of which the UK practice is one. Our work has a strong international flavour and our proximity to the US and continental European markets means that there is always scope for involvement in large-scale multi-jurisdictional assignments.
