Greggs plc is the UK’s leading baker retailer, specialising in sandwiches, savouries and other baker-fresh food on the go. From humble beginnings as a single bakers shop, we now have over 1,100 Greggs shops throughout the UK. Whilst our shops and products have evolved over time, we have remained loyal in our commitment to provide baker-fresh, quality food on the go.
We serve over 5 million customers each week in our shops. Two thirds of our business is in shop made sandwiches and freshly baked savouries such as pies, pasties and sausage rolls. These lines are complemented by a delicious range of sweet products and a wide range of bread and rolls.
The business has a divisional structure with central bakeries around the country supplying the shops in their surrounding areas. This ensures we have the freshest products and also that regional product tastes can be catered for.
We have eight divisions throughout the UK from Greggs of Scotland, to Greggs South East with branches down to the south coast of England. We have recently expanded into continental Europe with the opening of four branches in Belgium. We do not operate any franchise branches.
