Spire Healthcare owns and operates 25 hospitals in England, Scotland and Wales. Our mission is to be the best independent provider of affordable quality healthcare.
We work with leading consultants and highly trained nursing teams. Our patients can be confident that they are in the hands of health care professionals who are committed to providing high quality treatment and care. Most patients' treatment is covered by private medical insurance, although a significant number pay for their own treatment, and a small proportion are funded by the NHS.
Everything we do centres on meeting the needs of our customers. The private sector has been serving customers - that is both patients and the people paying for their care (e.g. insurers) in a similar way for the past 20 years.
However, the way healthcare is delivered in the UK is changing and our customer needs are changing too. These changes will have a significant impact on how we deliver what our customers want - quality healthcare at an affordable price.
