Project Brazil - 6-16th of October 2007

We have five places reserved on Project Brazil. This involves a 10 day trip to renovate a remote school and football pitch. The project is developed in partnership with the local population and will give the children and their parents the chance to continue their education in their own village, close to their families, rather than being obliged to move away.
Each participant has a minimum fundraising target of £4,000.00 (with 80% payable by August 2007) and there is a (non refundable) registration fee of £350.00. The itinerary is designed to be challenging but achievable for the average person. The proceeds raised will go to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. Bobby Moore was just 51 when he died from bowel cancer in 1993. Since then, the Bobby Moore Fund has raised over £6 million to tackle the disease. 45 people die every day in the UK from bowel cancer so your support really will help save lives.
Nearer the time Cancer Research UK will hold an information evening where you can meet more members of the team and hear more about the project.
