The Liverpool office covers the geographical areas of Greater Merseyside, Chester and North Wales. The Market
The Liverpool market was traditionally divided in two – a tier of leading commercial firms including Brabners, DLA, DWF and Halliwells, and a tier of leading insurance practices namely Weightmans, Berrymans and Hill Dickinson. This distinction is now blurring as the insurance firms build and develop their commercial service offerings.
The salary gap between Liverpool and Manchester has narrowed substantially at the NQ level and the city’s renaissance means that firms are increasingly attracting lawyers from London, drawn to the city by both the quality of work on offer and the quality of life the area can guarantee.

Furthermore NQ’s returning to the area (be it through family ties or previous study at the Chester College of Law) are much sought after and the opportunities for NQ's to enter a good firm with exceptional caseloads and career progression have never been better and is perhaps more of a reality than in other major UK cities.
