2011 Summer Internship Programme

Are you a current university student?
Are you confident and determined?
Can you persuade and influence?
Are you curious about recruitment?
Do you want to gain paid experience in your summer break?

We are able to offer several lucky students the perfect opportunity to find out more about the world of recruitment through an eight week paid summer internship programme.

What will you get out of the summer internship?

The summer internship will start in late-June or July depending on your university terms, and run for eight weeks. It is designed to give you a taster of what a career in recruitment is really like and immerse you in the day to day activities of the role.

Your Internship

  • Group induction programme to develop your knowledge of the business, build your IT skills and introduce you to the recruitment cycle
  • You will be assigned to a team, shadowing consultants and devoting equal time to learning how both the candidate and client processes work
  • During this time you will have responsibility over your own project based assignments, ideas for which we provide you and your manager in an internship workbook
  • Graduation with your fellow interns where you will receive constructive feedback from managers and mentors involved in your training

What happens to the relationship afterwards?

Feedback from previous interns tells us that they have left with a great understanding of the recruitment industry, a feel for the dynamic ethos of our company and now want to get more involved.

If you have a genuine interest in the role and we feel you have demonstrated the right skills for a successful career in recruitment, we will arrange for you to meet a relevant manager of one of our teams. They will interview you for a place on our highly successful Graduate Recruitment Scheme.
