The main trend across all sectors seems to be the switch from organisations purely addressing cost reduction to now looking at the front end of their processes in order to focus on revenue generation. Subsequently, candidates with specialised knowledge of front end processes, such as customer journey, sales force effectiveness and contact centre transformation are in high demand for both consulting and in-house roles. This high demand has meant that the pool of available job seekers in these areas has shrunk, normally leaving good candidates with several offers on the table.
