At a time when margins are tightening and cost cutting continues, Ellie Rich speaks to Saudagar Singh, Director of Human Resources for RWE NPower plc about the importance of employee engagement and a values-led approach to managment.

RWE NPower plc has a turnover of £6bn and profit of £450m with 6.8 million customers. They have almost 13,000 employees at their Head Office in Swindon and across the UK. Acquired in 2003 by RWE, a German business listed on the DAX with over 70,000 employees, they have 105 in HR in a business partner model.
