Paralegals back on the agenda

As confidence returns to the economy, the Paralegal market has shown distinct signs of recovery in both Private Practice and Industry and Commerce.

The latter is the more active of the two areas with the key recruitment need of clients continuing to be for candidates with commercial contracts experience. Within Private Practice we have seen a significant increase in Intellectual Property and Personal Injury positions and confidence levels amongst clients greater than at anytime since July 2008.

This pick up in activity is also being reflected amongst candidates. They now have a far more positive outlook, which is demonstrated by those in secure employment now seeking out new options.
