Your personal data – what information does Michael Page hold about you and what do we do with it?

As a candidate registered with Michael Page, you have given a certain amount of your personal data to us in order that we may look for suitable work for you.  Michael Page has not been given that data for any other reason and would not seek to use if for any purpose other than providing work finding services to you.

If your details change please ensure you advise us accordingly. It is important to us and to the service we are able to provide to you that the information we have in our database relating to you is up to date and accurate.

Michael Page has sophisticated security systems protecting the confidential and personal data we hold and is constantly reviewing its processes and systems to ensure they are as sound and secure as we need them to be.

By law we are required to keep your records for a year from the date we last provided work finding services to you, regardless of whether or not you were successfully placed. At the expiry of that year we will, if requested to do so by you, delete your records. Otherwise we will continue to hold them and treat you as a current candidate on our database.

When we are providing work finding services to you, we usually aim to seek your consent each and every time we send your CV out to a potential employer. However we also ask you whether there are any organisations (including your current employer) whom you do not wish your CV to be sent so that if it is not possible to get hold of you and we urgently need to send your CV to a potential employer, we can do so without there being a risk of it going to the wrong person.  If you have not provided us with this specific information, please feel free to do so now.
