Meet the team

James Campion- Director

James began his career with Michael Page in 2003 after a career as a professional rugby player and laterally a stint with a North American investment bank.  He has held numerous positions within the group and has in-depth experience of working with clients throughout the UK, having run large businesses in London and the Midlands. James has worked across a range of sectors and specialisms at all levels but has more recently been focused on senior assignments.

Financial services and industry have played large parts in James’s career to date and he has built valuable long-term relationships in these sectors nationally. His current role includes the management of all complex national accounts and securing new consultants for the Actuarial and Insurance practice. Michael Page Actuarial is an exciting new business for the Group and James will be bring his start-up expertise to bare in a market we believe offers substantial opportunities.

When James isn’t working he enjoys watching and coaching rugby and is an avid film goer.


Sonal Dourado- Resourcing Co-ordinator

Sonal began her career at Michael Page in 2005, sourcing and collating CVs, handling responses and providing broad administrative assistance to the team.

Sonal’s role also included monitoring and reporting responses from candidates and clients for senior campaigns and marketing promotions. Analysis and research has now become a fundamental and valued aspect of Sonal’s role, allowing campaigns to reflect a clear understanding of the target audience. Away from work, Sonal has a keen interest in dance and enjoys the theatre.

Katie Chevis- Consultant

Katie Chevis is a consultant with Michael Page Actuarial. She holds a BA in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Warwick.

Katie began her career with the University of Warwick Students’ Union looking after the welfare provision for almost 18,000 students. This also included representing the university population locally and nationally in a number of government led educational and equal opportunity campaigns. She moved to a Big 4 firm to join the Performance and Reward Team where she completed the Association of Tax Technicians qualification. Work here included share schemes analysis and benchmarking; international assignment services calculations and compliance; and due diligence in multinational carve outs.

It is her work with the campus recruitment teams that sparked the career change and she left to join an international executive search firm focusing on higher education and charity appointments. Katie splits her free between London and Stockholm and eagerly awaits a return to South America after travelling extensively there.
