About Our Client
The client is a technology driven firm of Accountants, specialising in the provision of accountancy, taxation and company advice to limited company contractors. They offer a bespoke on-line accounting solution, which is tailored specifically to their clients, along with delivering the highest level of service.
The Accounts Assistant will have responsibility for dealing with:
- Review of accounting data
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Assistance with the incorporation of new companies
- Companies House compliance including annual returns
- Assistance, preparation and completion of new business
- Set up of PAYE, payroll, VAT and HMRC gateway
In addition to the technical skills the individual will have good attention to detail, be professional in their approach and be able to work positively in a team, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It is important that they understand and can apply internal processes including databases and have a good grasp of IT.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be working for numerous managers providing accounting support services for corporate and individual clients and will involve direct interaction with the end customer. They will have a keen interest in pursuing and developing a career within accountancy, which may include working towards the ATT qualification.
This role would suit someone with established entry level experience within an existing accountancy practice. Similarly the role would suit an enthusiastic graduate who has demonstrable numerical skills and who is looking to develop a career in accounting. There is the opportunity to benefit from in-house training on the technical side, coupled with full support and guidance.
