Job Description

Field based sales role managing and developing an existing customer base as well as building the business with new customers to meet or exceed sales objectives and sales and revenue targets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining profit margins, monitoring & management of credit control for the client base around Inverness in the North of Scotland.

Ability to sell effectively maximising a full portfolio of products.

Ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships with internal and eternal customers.

Good commercial acumen exhibiting strong ability to analyse numeric & analytical data.

Exhibit strong problem solving characteristics and creative thinking.

Ability to recognise customer issues and develop viable commercial solutions in response to opportunity.

Ability to maximise resources through effective prioritisation, time management and organisational skills.

Team player who is comfortable working on own initiative.

Results driven approach.

Ability to adapt to varied, demanding & ever changing workload.

Ability to work flexible hours and provide 'on call' support & assistance out with standard office hours.

Role Requirements:

Secondary education with a minimum of 8 Standard Grades or equivalent at grade C or above (including English & Maths) or equivalent

At least 3 years' experience in an FMCG sales role.

Full driving licence held for more than 12 months.

 Competent IT skills primarily Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
