Job Description

Account Director role;

Client relationship management

  • Maintaining relationships and growing client accounts
  • Creating client development plans quarterly & regularly reviewing accounts output and profitability
  • Acting as the senior client contact with final financial accountability
  • Understanding the level of contribution and value from each individual client both short and long term
  • Running client workshops and meetings where required Account management

Account management

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of less senior account handlers
  • Recruit new staff and oversee development of team members
  • Motivate and lead all those involved in achieving a project's objectives

Creative and strategy

  • Ensuring the team deliver all projects at the highest standard
  • Managing the account handling team (at present one AM & one AE)
  • Balancing team resource across clients by planning against projected requirements
  • Creative and strategy
  • Ability to evaluate creative constructively and intelligently
  • Ability to strategise for long-term account development
  • Ablity to be a brand Guardian

The Successful Applicant

Account Director profile;

    • Significant experience in professional client relationship management
    • A background in advertising, design or marketing
    • The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
    • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Effective team management capabilities
    • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
    • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques - including digital platforms
    • Commercially aware with solid business development and financial management skills
    • Proactive
    • An excellent communicator with the ability to influence at a senior level
