Job Description

The main responsibilities of the Account Manager will be:

  • Responsible for securing sales of paper products in the U.K.
  • Responsible for the development of specific business plans to achieve sales targets and pre-established returns.
  • Manage current and potential customer relationships in support of the group's growth strategy.
  • Ensure the company is competitive, the service is high-quality, and the clients are satisfied through constant monitoring of results and team performance.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships by continuously meeting/exceeding customer expectations.
  • Monitor competitor's activity to ensure products continue to be competitive in quality and price.
  • Fully understand and communicate customer's long-term needs to ensure the Group is well-positioned to meet them into the future.
  • Analyse monthly sales performance on a weekly basis and take appropriate action(s) to ensure the Sales Forecast is met.
  • Analyse yearly sales forecasts on a monthly basis to ensure the corporation has the best available information.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Account Manager should have the following profile:

  • Minimum 3-5 years sales experience
  • A proven record of achieving aggressive sales growth targets
  • A good track record of success in a Business Services related market
  • Good commercial focus
  • Ability to understand Supply Chain and drive sales to achieve maximum revenue
  • Good understanding of the UK economy and business environment
  • An understanding of the UK paper or related markets would be useful

What's on Offer

Basic Salary circa £35,000 plus Bonus
