Job Description

As the Account Manager, you will need to take responsibility within the absence of the Operations Director. The right candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the financial management and the operational running of the contract. As well as monitoring the annual budget,across the sites.

You will report directly to the Operations Director and have significant engagement with the Senior Management team. You will use the KPI reports, to create effective strategies to improve the overall business performance.

Make judgments in all areas of responsibility taking into account legislation, health and safety and finance awareness. As well leadership and overall strategy within remit of department management. Frequent communication with colleagues in management and departmental staff.Communication with Senior Managers for resources regarding changes in working practices and procedures. Maintain verbal and written communication systems within all areas.

The Successful Applicant

  • NEBOSH or Higher qualification in Health and Safety
  • Experience in a complex multi-service environment.
  • Extensive experience within the Education sector.
  • Experience in dealing with multi-million pound budgets and large scale, high value capital projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of hard and soft services.
