Job Description

Reporting to the General Sales Manager based in the UK, the Account Manager's primary focus will be to achieve the agreed monthly and annual total Sales Revenue for your region. Further responsibilities include:-

  • Managing, developing and leveraging quality professional relationships with the distribution network across your region, ensuring high standards of knowledge and performance
  • To strategically identify and capitalise on business opportunities across your allocated territory.
  • To prepare quarterly business plans working towards set budgets.
  • Acting as a Strategic Marketing Partner for the distributors.
  • Assisting distributors as a product expert for the end user customer.
  • Training and motivating the distributor sales force.
  • Responsible for acting in compliance with the agreed business plans and methodologies, as defined by Ranpak Management

The Successful Applicant

The Account Manager will have a strong commercial drive and proven track record in sales, preferably from selling through distribution channels. You enjoy developing your client accounts and use your well developed interpersonal skills to train and educate your distributor's sales force. You are an outgoing, positive, tenacious and self-driven individual, who is used to working from home with autonomy and flexibility.

  • Previous experience from selling through distribution, enjoy developing existing, as well as hunting new, accounts.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate sales experience through quality, integrity, passion and strong commercial drive
  • To be successful, you will demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, drive, commitment and ability to be highly self-motivated.
  • A genuine interest in providing high level of customer service, including first class presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in solution selling in technical markets.
  • Willingness to travel.
