About Our Client

Our client is a growing B2B marketing Agency based in Hertfordshire. Due to a number of recent client wins and growth plans for 2016, they are now looking for an Account Manager to joining their team.

Job Description

The Hertfordshire based Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of account handling, both in terms of activities and longer term planning and delivery of agreed client strategies. Effective across a number of accounts and showing high levels of productivity. Other responsibilities include:

  • Driving the creative and strategic development of accounts for which they are responsible, both on a daily basis and by contributing significantly to research and strategy for client pitches and proposals and longer term strategy for planning meetings.
  • Clearly demonstrate competent writing skills across brief writing and copy for other communications such as online and brochures.
  • Reporting to client with relevant updates
  • Receiving and challenging client marketing briefs, ensuring the right information is present and pushing back to client where necessary
  • Overseeing and approving project budgets
  • Being accountable for the integrity of each project from start to finish
  • Ensuring written materials will be accurate, efficient and grammatically correct, with accurate content, and with nominal style amends required.
  • Utilising Digital platforms (where necessary) in order to maximise campaign impact and deliver integrated solutions in a fast-moving environment, focused on ROI.

The Successful Applicant

The Hertfordshire based Account Manager will ideally have a proven track record in a product marketing role. In addition, the successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of both online and offline marketing campaigns.

A degree in Marketing coupled with three years of working in a B2B marketing environment is highly desirable.
