My client has an opening for an Account Manager within a fast growing global leader in the Collaboration Service Provider market, based in West London. They provide a popular audio, web and video communications platforms for businesses, allowing clients to effectively reduce overhead costs.

Owned by a large Japanese international IT securities company, they have an exciting, dynamic team within an innovative and forward thinking business allowing great career prospects for the successful candidate.

Job Description

The Account Manager role fosters trust within their key account stakeholders, ensuring all aspects of their service expectations are met.

This role also offers an opportunity to up-sell services to an existing client base in an exciting business.

The role of the Account Manager based in West London will require:

  • Effectively Manage over 70 existing accounts
  • Identify and close on additional revenue streams through up-selling services to existing warm accounts
  • Build strong relationships with C-Suite contacts with limited face to face interaction
  • Negotiate contracts with multi-level stakeholders
  • Achieve and surpass quantitative and qualitative KPIs
  • Take ownership for building a pipeline full sales cycle for Sales Manager
  • Provide administrative support

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will exhibit:

  • Fantastic interpersonal skills
  • A drive to succeed in the commercial world
  • A track record in B2B sales
  • An ease at building meaningful relationships at all levels, from both the office and face to face
  • Previous experience in the hosted services or SaaS market would be advantageous but not a prerequisite
  • Hunger for continued learning
  • Gravitas, leadership qualities and natural ability to engender trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Evidence of maintaining strong relationships
  • Good phone manner
  • Full, clean UK drivers license
