My client is a renowned medical device manufacturer with a global presence; headquartered in Oxfordshire, they have gone from strength to strength, growing their sales teams and investing heavily in new platforms to help address current healthcare challenges globally.

Job Description

The Account Manager's primary responsibility, will be to manage, develop and leverage opportunities across nominated accounts. Further responsibilities include:-

-Maintaining a strong understanding of the multi-functional interfaces between my client and nominated accounts.

- Fully define project scope, goals and deliverables for all new business and change in scope of existing business.

-Working with numerous internal stakeholders to co-ordinate efforts in maximising opportunities.

-Highlight to the Senior National Account Manager or Business Development Manager by collecting data on performance of accounts with regards to sales and profit against actual vs planned.

- Managing packing specifications-working closely with marketing to help develop relevant artwork.

-Attending conferences and exhibitions both nationally and internationally to identify future customers and increase market knowledge within the industry.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Account Manager will:-

  • Have a successful Account Management background preferably in the pharmaceuticals or medical devices industry.
  • Have strong interpersonal and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Be a self starter, enthusiastic individual with the ability to work with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Have experience in building and executing strategic plans.
  • Be able to travel to the Oxfordshire region daily with some regional/national/international travel.
  • Be able to work autonomously in a rapidly changing environment.
