About Our Client

For more than 60 years, my client has built its reputation as a supplier of precision injection moulded products, for some of the world's leading brands.

Over the last 10 years, my clients key customers have extended their purchasing strategies to include the outsourcing of complete modules and finished products. This was the catalyst for my client to develop its services, from those of a high-end moulding company to those of a Contract or OEM (original equipment manufacturing) manufacturer.

Job Description

The main aim of the role is to generate sales/enquires/opportunities and to promote my clients products. The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Active and positive promotion of the advanced and unique technical selling features of their world class systems.
  • To identify opportunities where cost in manufacturing process can be improved
  • Develop new accounts and account manage existing accounts
  • International travel will be required with this role

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidates must demonstrate the below:

  • A real passion for sales
  • Ideally your experience will come from within the injection moulding industry/manufacturing b/g
  • Ideally you would of sold extruded plastic products
  • It is an advantage if you have technical sales experience or have a strong ability to understand and process technical product data.
  • Clear understanding of the principles and practice of selling.
  • Strong history of successful sales activity experience - minimum 3 years, be it B2B
  • High level of communication skills - written and verbal.
  • A confident and tenacious negotiator
  • Strong ICT skills,- experience of using a CRM system is an advantage
  • Serious team player, with high levels of personal ambition.
  • Have the proven ability, or the potential, to create real sales opportunities from seemingly hopeless cases.
  • Proven ability to successfully close the sale.
  • Positive, goal oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills

Extremely competitive package with bonus & car & benefits for the successful candidate. Salary circa £35,000 to £55,000 basic.
