About Our Client

Our client is a leading Business Services provider, seeking an Account Manager to join the team!

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • To develop customer agreed business plans to maximise growth opportunities and to increase profitability within all accounts allocated.
  • To achieve Sales and reach minimum performance and activity standards as defined and agreed with the line manager
  • To identify and optimise opportunities to deliver new business within existing accounts
  • To prepare and submit tenders for the supply of products and services and/or work closely with the internal Tender narrative and pricing teams in order that this is done effectively; plus retain all accounts through the tendering period, via the adoption of the highest levels of customer service and overall client relationship

The Successful Applicant

The Account Manager will:

  • Have previous sales experience is relevant/ business development experience within the B2B market
  • Have experience of managing relationships
  • Have a clear understanding of the sales cycle, including customer needs analysis and application.
  • Have strong negotiation skills.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have the ability to persuade and influence at a senior level
  • Be entrepreneurial and commercially astute
  • Have exceptional organisational and planning skills.
