Job Description

Account Manager

Main Purpose and Objectives:

  • Form a key link between business and key account clients in order to ensure seamless communication.
  • Establish our client as the primary supplier to the client for products and services.
  • Maintain sales tracking reports.
  • Be accountable for managing/controlling operational aspects of the account team - sales orders on time, stock holding, sales rate cards, specifications.
  • Deployment of the pre-agreed gross margins in relation to sales revenue streams:equipment, installation, delivery and other services.
  • Work to and develop client and internal Key Performance measurements for the account team.
  • Develop long term customer relationships in order to leverage the correct business opportunity aligned to our client's business philosophy.

The Successful Applicant

The Account Manager will have:

  • Strong IT skills.
  • An enthusiastic attitude with a business management understanding.
  • An innovative and flexible approach to problem solving.
  • Solid Commercial Awareness.
  • Consultative sales skills an advantage.
  • Key Account and Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of product costing and profit margin.
