The Acquisitions Surveyor will join a team of Acquisitions specialists covering the UK, working in a highly autonomous role responsible for their own results and success, but within a supportive and driven environment.

Job Description

Covering a defined geography and working to agree acquisition targets, key responsibilities of the Acquisitions Surveyor role include;

  • Identifying suitable opportunities in target towns, using a network of contacts and canvassing
  • Working closely with Retail Operations teams to ensure they are committed to the proposed acquisition
  • Negotiating Heads of Terms
  • Negotiating satisfactory legal documents using a sound knowledge of property law and commercial awareness
  • Managing a team of external consultants to obtain a satisfactory planning consent
  • Creating and maintaining accurate cost sheets throughout the acquisition process

The Successful Applicant

Suitable candidate will be Chartered MRICS or nearly qualified, and able to demonstrate a track record of success in a transactional property role, in an Occupier, Landlord or Agent capacity.

Candidates will ideally be based in or around the Bristol / South West / M4 Corridor area with the ability to travel as required, although our client will consider candidates from further afield.
