Originally a luxury publishing business who are market leaders in there content field, after a large investment from a Angel investor they are expanding into a 360 media business. With this being a exciting time of growth they are looking to grow there digital team and are looking for ambitious people to join and grow with the business.

Job Description


Working within the sales team, and alongside the digital team, the Ad Ops Exec is responsible for day-to-day ad trafficking, campaign monitoring, ad-performance reports and providing the sales team with sales stories and insight.


This is very much a team role and the Ad Ops Analyst will be required to collaborate with others to achieve common objectives and business goals.

3.1 Set up digital display advertising campaigns

  • Manage the Ad Server DfP (Doubleclick)
  • Traffick display advertising using
  • Traffick advertorials and sponsored content
    • Manage online ad inventory
  • Ensure campaigns deliver smoothly and meet or exceed client expectations
  • Provide inventory forecasts to the sales team and make sure all sales staff are aware of unsold ad slots

3.2 Manage campaign delivery, monitor performance, and report results

  • Monitor impressions, clicks and delivery rate
  • Identify any problems, recommend, and implement solutions
    • Manage and monitor advertorials and content marketing
  • Identify any problems, recommend, and implement solutions
    • Analyse data, identify areas to improve, action iterative changes, communicate results

3.3 Monitor and manage performance in social media

  • Measure Reach, Engagement and effectiveness of posts on behalf of clients
  • Measure engagement - Likes, Follows, Shares, Clicks, ReTweets
  • Analyse data to identify, communicate and implement improvements
  • Report performance and success to sales team and clients

3.4 Monitor and measure Yacht Listings performance

  • Set notional performance targets for advertisers
  • Benchmark actual performance vs. targets - Identify underperformance
  • Implement strategies to boost performance to ensure advertiser satisfaction
  • Analyse data to identify, communicate and implement improvements
  • Report performance and success to sales team and clients

3.5 Support the advertising sales team

  • Analayse web analytics, ad server, social media and email marketing data to provide insight and analysis to support sales pitches, tactics, and strategies
  • As required provide in depth data and research to support inform major sales strategies such as product launches and sponsorship programmes
  • Create monthly client sales report to communicate website performance in an insightful and engaging way
  • Add value through knowledge
  • Demonstrate value beyond the click / impression
    • Create monthly advertiser reports
  • Provide statistical reporting and strategic insight for advertisers

3.6 Integrate with the Digital Team

  • Provide cover for team members when they are away
  • Assist with the new commercial projects undertaken by the Digital and Sales Teams

4.2 Digital Marketing & Product Experience

  • Experienced in trafficking and managing digital ad campaigns
  • Solid understanding of online advertising and terminology
  • Experience with web analytics
  • Capability to mine data from digital sources
  • Capability to generate insight from data analysis
    • Knowledge of Google Analytics > Very desirable
    • Knowledge of Google display network / re-marketing > Very desirable

4.3 Software & Tools

  • Tech savvy, early adopter, keen user of the web, apps & software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) > Essential
  • Experience with Doubleclick (DfP) > Essential
  • Experience with Google Analytics > Very desirable
  • Experience with selling remnant inventory > Very Desirable
  • Experience with Google AdWords > Desirable
