About Our Client

Trading for over 250 years, my client has firmly established themselves in the scholarly publishing market. Serving markets from tech to social sciences with journals, books, web based solutions and email campaigns, they sell regular publications delivered to highly targeted segments offering advertisers unparalleled access to their customers.

This will be the first time advertising has been offered within these publications, so expect high demand for ad space in these journals.

Job Description

The role of Advertising Sales Executive will:

  • Taking ownership of the advertising in assigned journals.
  • Develop new advertising opportunities in the market.
  • Prospect face to face and from the office.
  • Attend international conferences quarterly.
  • Maintain advertising pipeline.
  • Deliver revenue targets.

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate for Advertising Sales Executive will exhibit:

  • Recent track record in advertising preferable.
  • Credibility in front of clients.
  • Ability to work towards targets.
  • Maintain short and long cycles.
  • Previous experience selling into pharmaceuticals preferred but not essential.
  • Degree preferred but not essential.

What's on Offer

£26,000-£32,000 Basic Salary + 25% Bonus.
