About Our Client

The client is a large accountancy practice with an excellent Insolvency/Advisory department along with the full spectrum of accountancy services - Audit, Tax, Accounting and Corporate Finance. The are a national firm and in Cardiff have the feel of a large independent local accountancy practice.

Job Description

As the Advisory manager, you will prepare draft proposals for new work, with guidance where appropriate and proactively contribute to the department's marketing efforts including attending events, preparing presentations and marketing collateral, suggesting new initiatives, organising events, following up targets and contacts. You will act as an interface between the client and the company subject to review and liaise with various lenders and other financial stakeholders preparing reports and leading presentations. At this level there will also be some business development involved and responsibility for compliance, budgets and billing.

The Successful Applicant

You will have strong Microsoft skills, be an excellent communicator and be well organised. An appropriate professional qualification is also essential (ACA, ACCA, JIEB). Manager level will be the logical next step in your career.
