About Our Client

My client is an award winning major global manufacturer within the Automotive industry. They have grown steadily over the years and have now become the 20th largest company, by providing their customers high quality and affordable products.

They're currently looking for an After sales Development Manager to work closely with 15-20 dealerships, within the Hertfordshire and Essex areas.

Job Description

Due to expansion my client are looking for an After sales Development Manager to manage 15-20 dealers across the Northern Home counties and Essex areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and influence relationships within each dealer to ensure that performance objectives are achieved.
  • Work with the dealers to agree and achieve targets, performance levels and measurements
  • Ensure that all dealers have a clear and concise development plan to address any concerns raised through the Customer Experience.
  • Identify where dealer processes can be refined and adapted in the pursuit of the highest levels of satisfaction and business performance
  • Manage and coach dealers to grow and develop their employees by reviewing new and existing employees through a skills assessment.
  • Identify specific training needs and liaise with the Training Academy to devise and deliver a clear training plan.
  • Work closely with the dealer After sales operations to devise strategies that optimise performance. This will include the development of business plans and regular performance reviews.

The Successful Applicant

All candidates will have:

  • An ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders within the dealer network
  • Experience within Automotive industry is essential
  • A thorough understanding of the After sales core processes necessary to deliver dealer excellence in your specified operational area
  • A practical level of financial and commercial awareness, sufficient to provide valued input and insight at a dealer operational level whilst at the same time recognising areas of risk and opportunity for the dealer
  • Accurate numeracy, literacy and technological skills commensurate with the evolving demands of the role
  • Ability to negotiate, build rapport and influence dealerships
