My client is an established fast food / restaurant business with locations throughout the UK.

They hold a large proportion of the retail fast food and restaurant market and continue to grow and develop.

Job Description

Operations (Health & Safety, Loss Control)

  • Maintain overall quality and service standards * Follow up on management team shift control issues * Conduct Company Operations Reviews and implement action plans * Manage contract services to restaurant * Ensure that Health & Safety and Food safety working practices are adhered to at all times * Ensure all Loss Controls are carried out effectively and timely on all sites

Business Planning & Financial Control

  • P & L management (achievement of sales and profit targets, projections) * Ensure food cost and labour targets are being achieved, implement action plans where necessary. * Set sales projections and restaurant budgets with the restaurant management team. * Check weekly figures for each restaurant and set action plans where necessary * Ensure invoice payment * Ad hoc area responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Keep regular contact with customers to obtain feedback on service, food quality and staff friendliness * Respond to written customer complaints * Ensure restaurants are operating to current Burger King standards * Ensure restaurants are meeting gold standard speed of service requirements by monitoring SOS averages and implementing appropriate action plans where necessary * Ensure restaurant image (employee and facilities) meets company standards

People Management & Development

  • Complete competency review and development plans for management team * Complete a training needs analysis for staff, supervisors and managers and devise training plans to suit needs * Identify potential in staff and managers and provide individuals with development training to maximize their skills * Manage absence and disciplinary issues within the restaurant, seeking specialist assistance where required * Conduct monthly management meetings

To be considered for this role you must have multi site management experience, preferable in the food and beverage industry.

You must demonstrate the ability to lead business and successfully exceed KPIs and business plan objectives.

You will be a self starter, with the ability to motivate and lead teams to success.
