My Client is a Global market leader in building materials. With established relationships with Independent and National builders Merchants, local and national building contractors they provide a warm sales environment and fantastic career progression.

Job Description

The main objective of this role is to develop and maintain product sales with merchants and contractor's

The successful candidate will be expected to:-

  • Proactively maintain relationships with existing local customer base
  • Liaise with the Market Research team with customer feedback
  • Effectively organise customer visits within the territory
  • Overseeing the full sales cycle and managing new accounts
  • Developing a long term business strategy
  • Identifying clients needs in order to deliver solutions to meet their requirements
  • Generate meetings with relevant decision makers
  • Work closely with the senior management team to drive the sales strategy

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable sales experience of managing an account with multiple products/brands.
  • Time Management/ Account Planning skills
  • Effective negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills.
  • First class communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Confident at making informed decisions

What's on Offer

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £35,000 depending on applications + Bonus and Company car
