Job Description

The primary responsibility for the Area Sales Manager will be to manage, develop and leverage existing relationships with distributors and end users whilst identifying new business opportunities across the assigned territory.

Further responsibilities include:-

  • Increase and self-generate new sales leads across both iNet and traditional sales.
  • Identify, manage and evaluate current/new distribution channels.
  • Train and support distributors and end users.
  • Own the complete sales cycle working towards corporate forecasts and budgets.
  • Attending trade shows and exhibitions, demonstrating the products/service to prospective customers.
  • Selling gas detection solutions through distribution and direct channels.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals to a number of different stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The Area Sales Manager will:-

  • Ideally have experience selling gas detection solutions.
  • Have a successful sales track record in identifying and winning new business.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional customer service levels.
  • Be a tenacious individual with experience of managing and working towards long sales cycles.
  • Ideally be degree educated.
  • Adopt a consultative sales approach, confident in working with different stakeholders at different levels.
  • Flexible in travel across the Central and South of England with some overnight stay.
