About Our Client

My client is fast becoming one of the most recognised equipment hire companies on the market and have recently extended their Midlands depot. They sell to a wide range of companies; from small food hauliers right the way through to the BBC. In keeping with their continual growth plans, they are looking for an energetic Area Sales Manager to help expand their client portfolio across The South Midlands.

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a new business developer who loves being able to manage their own diary and thrives upon getting out on the road and meeting new people. The successful candidate's day to day task will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing and expanding an existing portfolio of customers in The West Midlands
  • Identifying new opportunities for business and developing new accounts for the business
  • Arranging regular client visits-at least 10 a week-to build rapport with new and existing customers
  • Obtaining key industry trends and relaying these to your customers and colleagues alike
  • Achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets set by the company
  • Providing progress reports
  • Meeting frequently with the Regional Manager to talk through your progress

  • Living in The South Midlands
  • Have a proven track record in sales
  • Experience selling materials handling equipment is highly desirable
  • Engaging, highly driven and energetic
  • Experience in a field-based role
  • Thrives on working independently
  • Passionate about sales
