About Our Client
Our client is on of the leading UK wholesalers in electrical lighting supplies, they have over 190 branches UK wide and are one of the fastest growing lighting wholesalers in the EU.
- Identify new business opportunities within the retail sector and target these with appropriate commercial strategies to ensure increase sales and margin.
- Develop commercial relationships with National and Regional wholesalers to exploit their distributive position and retail opportunities.
- Adopt an entrepreneurial and proactive approach to customer development to exploit opportunities to best effect and to demonstrate the value that Ring can provide to the supply chain.
- Retain and develop a portfolio of customers ensuring an in-depth understanding of customer objectives.
- To achieve all sales and margin targets set, for managed accounts, in terms of revenue growth by identifying opportunities to grow the business and enhance profitability. Be commercially aware of current trading position.
- Provide regular updates and agreed reporting on new customer/business activities.
- Work closely with managed accounts, creating effective communication channels with all key stakeholders
- Ensure strategic account development plans for each customer are continually updated in line with the current budget requirements with all current and relevant information, including mutual objectives and performance reviews.
- Evaluate customer risk and proactively work to avoid re-tenders/ deletions or action by customers that could adversely affect the company profitability.
- Contribute new product and sales ideas to the retail sales division and wider organisation.
