About Our Client
My client is a leading supplier of MRO type products, offering the widest choice to all industries and trades.
As an area sales manager you will be responsible for growing my clients accounts base. You will be responsible for growing the existing ledger account and bringing on new business.
The Successful Applicant
The successful sales manager will have:
- Previous experience in account management and/or territory sales and display an attitude that is key to success.
- Account management and relationship building
- Excellent communication (inc. listening and negotiating skills)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent IT skills including comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Results orientated
- Highly self-motivated
- Industry experience
- Previous B2B field sales experience or at the very least internal B2B sales experience
- Ownership of customer relationship
- Penetration of nominated customers
- Development of target customers
- Valid UK driving licence
