A major London based Asset Manager
What does the Asset Management Project Manager/Business Analyst role holder do? (Accountabilities )
Owns analysis on assigned projects with key responsibilities including requirements gathering, documentation and traceability, functional specifications, business process re-design (process, services, organisation etc.), defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test scripts, delivery of any material required to support training and communication and evaluating business and technical solution options and design.
Effectively work among stakeholders to build consensus on requirements & prioritisation of these to ensure the analysis and implementation is focussed on the most critical business needs. Works closely with the Project Manager to manage
Manage key analysis risks, issues and dependencies across the project, ensuring transparent and appropriate identification, escalation and resolution.
Establish and build relationships across Asset Management to facilitate achievement of goals and support the momentum of projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the establishment of project and preparation of key projects documents including the Business Case, Terms of Reference, evaluation of options and post project review
Act as an SME to other project members (e.g. Testing, Developers) as required.
Support the documentation of test scripts for UAT and be available during the testing cycle to answer questions and support issue resolution.
Manage analysis elements of the project plan to time, cost and quality and deputise for Project Manager as required.
The Successful Applicant
What are the Asset Management Project Manager/Business Analyst skills, knowledge and experience needed to do the role?
An excellent understanding Asset Management and has strong practical project exposure in these.
Has had previous responsibility for end to end requirements capture on projects and is able to adapt approach to suit the particular project environment.
Extensive knowledge and use of a variety of analysis techniques to challenge current thinking and uncover the root cause of Financial Services business problems.
Proven ability to suggest and assess alternative solutions to address business requirements.
Has significant knowledge and experience of the major project methodologies (including at a minimum Waterfall and Agile) gained across a number of projects.
A strong understanding of technology (applications, interfaces, services, data, platforms, security) and how it can be used to realise business benefits.
