About Our Client

An opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated and forward-thinking asset management team for a leading housing association based in Liverpool.

Job Description

  • Be responsible to the Senior Asset Manager to support the implementation of the Asset Management Strategy.
  • Lead on the appraisal of dwellings, land and commercial units to ensure the Group makes best use of its property holdings.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of the property holdings ensuring obligations are met and rights are protected.
  • Liaise with other teams to identify, develop and assist in the delivery of property improvement and regeneration project

The Successful Applicant

  • Has experience of working in a busy asset management department within a large Housing Association.
  • Has experience of matters relating to the legal ownership of land and property, particularly in relation to stock transfer housing associations.
  • Has a good awareness of the various factors that can affect the viability of rented housing stock and the sustainability of a neighbourhood.
  • Has knowledge of the HCA requirements relating to Assets and Liabilities Registers.
  • Has experience of working with colleagues across an organisation to achieve targets with tight deadlines and strict requirements.
  • Has experience of carrying out complex appraisals of housing assets; including the generation of options, analysis of performance data and presentation of recommendations for decision at Board level.
  • Has an understanding of discounted cash flow financial appraisal methodology and experience of appraisal systems.
  • Has experience of completing acquisitions and disposals of land and property, including liaising with solicitors and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
  • Self-motivated and has an excellent work ethic.
