This is one of the UK's leading hair electrical producers, managing a portfolio of professional and consumer brands. They sell through the biggest hair & beauty wholesalers and retailers in the UK and Europe. They have a catalogue of products across all hair electrical categories that are used by stylists worldwide in salons, shows and on TV. The role is based from their offices in South London.

Job Description

As the Assistant Brand Manager you will work with the Brand Manager and take responsibility for the following:

  • Identifying the key values of the brands and motivating product benefits
  • Establishing end-users groups and how to most successfully engage with them
  • Communicating the brand values and product benefits to convert end-users away from competitor products through product, digital, trade and PR strategies and campaigns
  • Working closely with customers and the UK sales departments to manage and deliver the following ensuring exciting, on-time execution with the design team:
  • Sales Trade Pages
  • Creative adverts
  • Activation of new products
  • Point of Sale
  • Customer Road Shows including Boots
  • Industry events and Trade shows
  • Working closely with the design team to develop, manage and deliver an updated and cohesive online platform including web development
  • Developing and executing an exciting social media plan that links in to key communication activity
  • Creating online collateral and content e.g. Videos, photos shoot, product stories, external news storie
  • Liaising with PR agencies to deliver unified, consistent and targeted marketing communications
  • Conducting competitor analysis
  • Understanding the end-user
  • Identifying opportunities and ideas from other markets
  • Managing development time-lines to ensure on-time delivery of product and preceding samples
  • Managing the development and delivery

The Successful Applicant

As the Assistant Brand Manager, you will be required to have the following skills:

  • Working knowledge within consumer marketing
  • Project Management
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • High attention to details
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • The ability to work to a budget
