Based in West Yorkshire nr Leeds you will be part of an established finance function

Job Description

The Buyer based in West Yorkshire nr Leeds. will be under the direction of the Finance Manager support the stages of the preparation for the tendering process including:-

    1. Pre-tender information gathering.
    2. Pre-tender supplier meetings.
    3. Preparation for the tender process:
      1. Lead the development of specifications with stakeholders
      2. Prepare Advert copy and Expressions of Interest
      3. Prepare Prequalification documentation
      4. Prepare the Invitation to Tender or equivalent document for the chosen process (e Auction, Competitive Dialogue, Dynamic Procurement etc.)
      5. Draft the award criteria for the tender evaluation and subsequent steps if defined by the process.

The Successful Applicant

    1. Understanding the markets
    2. Engaging with stakeholders
    3. Developing the procurement approach and sourcing strategies
    4. Carrying out OJEU procurement exercises
