Job Description

The Assistant Manager will be expected to:

  • Ensure excellent customer service is standard at all times
  • Appraise a broad range of items including jewellery and watches
  • Service all client enquiries on a daily basis through a variety of communication channels
  • Reach and maintain knowledge on pawnbroking industry
  • Assist the store manager in leading and motivating the store team
  • Act as brand ambassador and lead promotional strategies locally
  • Open, close and cashing up procedures

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced within the pawnbroking or jewellery sector with a track record of delivering results
  • A proven sales skills with excellent customer service
  • Strong in knowledge of legal requirements surrounding the role of a retail manager
  • A leader and a motivator
  • Motivated to succeed and improve the business in which they work
