Job Description

The successful candidate for the ALM Reporting role will:

  • Build a solid understanding of how the Group QRM model is constructed.
  • Work with the QRM project and BAU Change teams to understand the Operating Model.
  • Work on the TOM process for one of the Live models, producing MI every month, following procedures.
  • Ensure all reconciliation and control points are completed successfully and accurately..
  • Understand the cluster IT commitments, list of data files used in the model, and identify any 'troublesome' files / processes, and work with stakeholders to improve consistent reliable data delivery.
  • Ensure that all procedures and processes for running the QRM BAU model are in place and are sufficiently comprehensive.
  • Ensure that the running of the QRM model for ALM BAU activities is carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the integrity of QRM output used by the ALM Desk and other key stakeholders in the business.
  • Work with the QRM project on transition activities ensuring that the QRM Model is fit for purpose.

The Successful Applicant

This ALM Reporting role requires the following skills:


  • Excellent numeric and analytical skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and add value to the development of the ALM function.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel user.
  • Understanding and appreciation of the IT function within an ALM process.


  • Degree or professional qualification e.g. ACA, CFA, MBA, MCT.
  • Experience in prior QRM implementations would be useful.

  • Flexible approach to work, able to play key role within a small, high calibre function.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Work effectively in a high pressure/variable working environment.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts to senior personnel in a succinct manner.
  • Self starting, able to flush out issues and communicate these confidently.
