About Our Client

My client is a top professional services firm looking to develop their Operational Deal Services team and looking for an Associate Director. My client has national offices, and looking for the Associate Director - Deals Advisory to be based out of their London office. Key services offered include Integration, 100 day planning, Separation, Operational Due Diligence (ODD), Synergy case development and reporting. An Associate Director (AD) in Operational Deal Services will be responsible for the day to day leadership of projects with minimal oversight from a Director/Partner and will interface directly with client management, financiers and other advisors. The role requires prior M&A experience, from having led a mixture of Integration / Separation / ODD / Synergy projects, as well as a developing business development capability and a self-starter approach.

Job Description

To join my client's consultancy practice as an Associate Director - Deals Advisory, your main responsibilities would be:

  • Has an established external network and a track record of proactively building internal and external networks to generate leads
  • Overall responsibility for project budgeting and management of actual costs versus budget
  • Day-to-day client relationship lead role for a range of transaction sizes and responsibility for client delivery, including client meetings / workshops, presentation of project outputs and report drafting
  • Understands the key operational implications to an acquisition, integration or divestment, utilising previous transaction, functional and sector experience

The Successful Applicant

As an Associate Director - Deals Advisory Experience/Education/Qualifications required

* Previous M&A advisory experience from having led a mixture of Integration/Separation/ODD projects
* Experience of managing project teams and developing and mentoring staff
* Track record in business development / sales in the Operational Deal Services market
* Desirable - Functional business experience e.g. supply chain, finance, sales and marketing
