The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audience Development Manager to join team and make a valuable contribution to the business.

Job Description

  • Audience and traffic management across all digital platforms (App, Web & IPTV) - collect, anlayse and apply data learning's from multiple sources to enable more effective commerce, content and advertising experiences;
  • Team lead for search engine optimisation and search engine marketing (support product manager and producers);
  • Team lead for personalisation - you will work with the product and production leads to personlise content experiences through precise audience segmentation and targeting as well manage implicit and explicit personalisation approaches;
  • Management and selection of tools to support audience optimization (interfacing with the research & analytics team);
  • Lead audience conversion by working closely with Customer Experience, UX & Design you will identify optimal audience conversation approaches from video and editorial consumption through to subscription generation. For example, by monitoring key pages across all platforms using heat map analytics, exit and entry points etc. to optimize audience conversion and minimise exits;
  • Create, operate and manage the digital teams operational marketing and events calendars.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in web and App analytics, audience behaviour and acquisition
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving audience development based on customers' needs and staying ahead of market and industry trends;
  • High problem solving and decision making ability;
  • Excellence in communicating, personally one-on-one and when presenting to groups in addition to written communications via various mediums, specifically business case reporting;
  • Strong research, analytical and reporting skills;
  • Well-developed knowledge of sport and sport digital products;
  • Tertiary qualifications highly desirable;
  • Exceptional relationship building, stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating skills to ensure buy in to a product across all levels.
