Job Description

As an Audi Semi-Senior, you will be required to undertake the following duties:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of auditing standards, procedures & techniques
  • Work as part of a supportive team to carry our practical audit assignments at the clients premises whilst building good working relationships
  • Use initiative to solve problems or seek help/support where appropriate
  • Prepare client statutory accounts, Balance sheets, P&L all up to trial balance
  • Prepare management accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Draft financial statements
  • Draft reports covering financial statements, client systems and controls
  • Maintain great communication with management and other relevant departments
  • Run and participate some smaller audit assignments where necessary
  • perform other work related duties where relevant

The Successful Applicant

This successful Audit Semi-Senior for this South West London office will be/have:

  • Strong double entry bookkeeping skills and accounting knowledge
  • Be able to demonstrate previous practical and technical knowledge
  • Part qualified ACA/ACCA Trainee
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Work within budget and and set times frames
  • An ability to be highly self motivated and multitask
  • VAT and corporation tax knowledge and experience
  • A track record of statutory and management accounts preparation for UK entities
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Understanding of Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero and Alphatax
