About Our Client
My client is a Big 4 accountancy practice. Based in their recently opened Cardiff office, they have a well established audit department who deal with a wide range of clients. This typically includes large, FTSE listed companies right down to smaller, private companies. Having won a number of large tenders recently they have great scope for future progression within the company.
As Audit Assistant Manager you will have responsibility for planning and project managing all aspects of audits. This will involve leading teams carrying out audits and reporting directly to the manager. As Audit Assistant Manager you also have responsibility for resolving complex audit issues and coaching junior members of your team. As this is a client facing role you will also maintain and build relationships with your clients.
The Successful Applicant
The Audit Assistant Manager role is ideal for recently qualified ACA candidates. Equivalent qualifications are also desirable and exam qualified candidates approaching full qualification / membership will also be considered. Good working knowledge of audit practice, UK GAAP and IFRS is a must.

Salary between £35-40,000 pa depending on experience
