Job Description

An opportunity exists for Assistant Managers to join this Big 4 St Albans corporate audit team.



Assistant Managers play a crucial role in the delivery of services to clients, managing audit and advisory engagements as well as a team of people.

The St Albans office has 200 employees working in diverse teams, focusing on different service lines and industries. As one of our leading regional offices with significant growth planned, the role offers high visibility to the partner group and the opportunity for personal development, rapid progression and career advancement.

The St Albans Corporate Audit practice serves a varied portfolio of clients across different sectors including privately owned, private equity backed, foreign owned and listed businesses. Whilst this covers a range of industries as well, the practice is increasingly focussing on clients and targets in the Consumer Business sector.

The Successful Applicant

* Educated to degree level or relevant professional experience
* ACA / ACCA / CA / ICAS

Personal skills to include:
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Planning and project management skills
* A good team player with strong organisational skills
* A proactive approach to problem solving
* Highly motivated with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a fast paced environment
