Job Description

The Technically Strong Audit Senior for this chartered accountancy firm will lead and execute the assignment of all accounting duties for a broad range of medium to large and owner managed business's in a wide range of industries. Typical assignments will be working with clients with turnovers generally in excess of £10 million on a daily basis. You role will be equally split between producing full sets of accounts and corporation tax and working in the audit assignments.

The Successful Applicant

Main responsibilities for this Auditor in Central London:

  • Plan and perform audits leading a team
  • Obtain background data for audit planning
  • Prepare & review financial statements
  • Prepare corporation tax computations
  • Draft Management letters and reports
  • Ensure time budgets are maintained
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professional relationships.
  • Supervise and assist junior staff
  • Liaise with other departments in order to efficiently and effectively complete jobs
  • Be a team player and actively partake in technical training sessions
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of caseware is desirable
