About Our Client

The Banking Business Development Manager - SME Lending will be tasked with creating new, proactive relationships with SME Bank Relationship managers to grow borrower numbers through referrals.
Under the terms of a new government referrals initiative, ten major banks will be obliged to offer any business whose loan application they have rejected a referral to a choice of new finance providers. Your task will be to grow those Bank contacts to ensure you are the referral company of choice.
You will be working closely with the head of partnerships on overall strategy, and working in the field to implement this strategy.
Home based, with regular contacts/ meeting in the London office.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Banking Business Development Manager - SME Lending will:
- Be working in a Bank as an Area Manager / Business manager focusing on acquiring new SME businesses to your portfolio.
Have Experience working with bank relationship managers with access to SMEs, and within small business finance
You MUST be new business focused, proactive and driven to not only closely manage your business relationships, but also develop new contacts
What's on Offer
£40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience. + performance bonus + company package.
