Job Description

  • Work closely with the business (Ratings Agents, Economists, Commercial Team) to provide expert analysis on all aspects of the banking market within the UK & Europe
  • Analysis of banks performance using publicly available information as well as proprietary information unique to the business
  • Conduct presentations to business wide stakeholders around market forces and fundamental challenges within the banking sector
  • Actively participating in regular meetings with Senior Bank Analysts to align goals and objectives for the business unit
  • Actively participating in external client meetings to collect and analyse commercial information
  • Responsible for liaising with Analysts across the international business regarding various sector specific issues
  • Initiating improvements to Bank data support processes and procedures
  • Providing appropriate consultancy, solutions and advice in the areas of Bank fundamentals information across the organisation
  • Reviewing the analytical process for bulk data capture
  • Providing valuable support to the Senior Banks Data Specialist

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA OR ACCA qualified accountant
  • Banking and capital markets audit or broad financial services audit experience
  • Experience of working in an accountancy or auditing environment with exposure to retail and investment banking divisions and Financial Statements

Basic salary - £50,000 - £60,000 depending upon interview performance and prior experience
