About Our Client

This multinational consumer goods business manufacture and distribute personal care, beauty, home care, food and nutrition and electrical products. This role will be working specifically on a prestige beauty brand.

Job Description

As the Beauty Brand Manager based in London, you will report to the Global Head of Marketing and NPD.

You will manage key relationships with National Accounts Team, Professional team, NPD, Design Manager and PR as well as global counterparts.

Your 3 direct line reports include: Digital Executive, Social Executive, Assistant Brand Manager (off line activity).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sole responsibility within marketing team for all on and offline brand activity in UK as well as leading global asset creation & guiding markets on strategic brand direction.
  • Local implementation of brand plans, working closely with Global Head of Marketing & NPD.
  • Responsible for full UK marketing brand budget management inc digital, social, media, retailer activation and brand assets.
  • Lead the development of the 12 month rolling marketing activity calendar for the brand - creating new assets, events and activity in line with brand objectives, and aligning full cross functional brand team.
  • Take responsibility for developing and executing monthly activity across all touch points; in store, online, social, advertising
  • Take a leadership role cross functionally in ensuring all parties updated on activity that is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop a close and strong working relationship with key retailer account and wider national accounts team, internally and at Head Office level. Ensuring first class initiatives are delivered in store, and also online in partnership with the retailer.
  • Support the sales team through feeding into, analyzing and approving planogramming process. Considering strategic rationale for decisions and presenting them to Head of Marketing and Brand Director for sign off.
  • Create compelling retailer presentations tailored to local retailers and aiding with global customer presentations.
  • Act as global day to day marketing lead for activation in existing markets and brand roll out into new markets.
  • Lead quarterly brand review process - sharing successes and providing added value analysis and solutions to issues and opportunities identified.

The Successful Applicant

To be a successful Beauty Brand Manager within this business you will have the following:

  • Retail understanding of Boots environment - having worked with Boots and / or other chains
  • Have worked in a global function (or for a UK developed brand)
  • Passionate about the beauty industry
  • Good initiative, a real self-starter
